Kenfair International launches “Mega Macao”

The first international trade show to be staged at the venetian

(Hong Kong, 17 October 2007) – Presented by leading Hong Kong trade fair organizer Kenfair International, the first “Mega Macao” trade fair for consumer retail products will begin tomorrow at the Venetian Convention & Exhibition Center, the spectacular new exhibition and entertainment venue in Macao.

With over 1,100 booths, the event will feature more than [-] exhibitors , including companies from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, India, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Held between 18 and 20 October 2007, “Mega Macao” will have four major product categories covering promotional and advertising premiums; toys, gifts and housewares; home textiles, garments, fabrics and accessories; and consumer electronics,

Mr. Herbert Ip, Chairman of Kenfair International, said, “ We believe Macao now offers a unique and compelling new destination for business events in Asia. The continuing investment in the superb hotel, entertainment and event facilities will create a whole new Asian trade show experience, which cannot be replicated elsewhere in the region. In addition, the convenient proximity to the low cost manufacturing base of the Pearl River Delta, as well as the frequency of transport to Hong Kong permits buyers and exhibitors to continue on their Southern China business trips with ease.”

Show dates in April and October 2008 have been booked in Macao and the next show will take place April 20 -22 , 2008 at the Venetian Convention and Exhibition Center.
